How Codenovous Began

The story begins in 2023 when Harsh was freelancing as a tech lead at a car rental startup. When Radhika was brought on board, their interaction was initially minimal. However, as Radhika faced questions and founder disagreements, she naturally started seeking Harsh's long-standing knowledge of the project. He became her informal consultant for clarifying doubts and a trusted confidante for navigating internal team drama. This initial, accidental collaboration during their shared startup experience laid the groundwork for their future partnership before their conversations faded post-product launch.

First Project Proposal

Months after they had both moved on, Harsh reached out to Radhika on LinkedIn, remembering she was looking for project management opportunities. The simple message reignited their connection, shifting from casual check-ins to intentional discussions about their professional futures. Having observed Radhika's sharp, organized, and effective work ethic during their shared time, Harsh took the significant step of formally proposing: "Want to work on a project together?" Radhika's immediate "yes" marked the moment Codenovous began to form.

Missing Piece & the Hurdle

With their first project—an ambitious food delivery app for Hong Kong—secured, the newly formed duo needed a skilled developer. They posted the job and Sachin applied. Stuck in a rigid MNC role where his skills were underutilized and his pay was low, Sachin saw the opportunity and his impressive portfolio convinced Harsh and Radhika immediately. However, the path was blocked by a single, expensive requirement: an iOS developer needs a MacBook. Having just started his career, Sachin was unable to afford the hardware necessary to seize the opportunity.

Faced with Sachin's dilemma, Harsh demonstrated the foundational belief of Codenovous: trust over conditions. Without hesitation or second-guessing, he stepped in and helped Sachin acquire the necessary MacBook. This unconditional investment cemented a powerful team dynamic. Sachin immediately joined, and the speed and efficiency of the team skyrocketed. The food delivery app launched successfully, followed quickly by a series of other projects.

That single project, fueled by trust and shared capability, blossomed into over 40 successful projects in two years. Sachin became the essential backbone of their technical operations, integral to every subsequent app. The accidental partnership of two individuals who took a chance became Codenovous Digital. The company's core ethos remains unchanged: a commitment to building quality work, prioritizing real collaboration over corporate politics, and fostering a supportive environment where talent is empowered to thrive.
